Joan Donovan shares her research on internet and media influence and the effects of widespread misinformation.
Donovan is the director and lead researcher of the Technology and Social Change Research Project at the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School. Her work focuses on examining online extremism, media manipulation, effects of disinformation campaigns, and adversarial media movements.
