Rose is the Chancellor's Professor of Africana Studies, associate dean of the Faculty for Special Initiatives and Director of the Center for the Study of Race and Ethnicity in America at Brown University. Her work deals with social problems such as social inequality, police profiling, implicit bias, ethnic stereotyping and immigration policies through research, scholarship, education, performance and art.
