Chautauqua Piano Competition Winners' Recital
Performing and Visual Arts • 11-Jul-2021
Originally broadcast at 2:30 p.m. ET Sunday, July 11, 2021.
Bringing top young pianists from the Americas, Asia, and Europe to Chautauqua each summer, the Piano Program culminates in the Chautauqua Piano Competition, a highlight each season in the programming of the School of Music. This year, the competition returns in grand form with a Winners' Recital in the Amphitheater. This recital is a celebratory showcase of the prizewinners’ virtuosity, brilliance, and transcendence. The competition’s preliminary and final rounds cannot be open to the public in 2021, so this recital is an event not to be missed!
