An Evening Piano Recital with Jon Nakamatsu

Jon Nakamatsu, Chautauqua favorite and 1997 Van Cliburn Gold Medalist, presents an evening recital that will include masterworks by Mozart and Chopin. Each summer at Chautauqua, Nakamatsu leads professional-level masterclasses and private lessons for top piano students from around the world. Mr. Nakamatsu has served on multiple international piano competition juries and has also been invited as a guest speaker at numerous institutions including the Van Cliburn Foundation, Stanford University and the Juilliard School. Together with clarinetist Jon Manasse, Mr. Nakamatsu tours as a member of the Manasse/Nakamatsu Duo, with the duo also serving as Artistic Directors of the esteemed Cape Cod Chamber Music Festival in Massachusetts.
