The "Tenacity" exhibition will feature works by women who are extremely talented, creative and have had long successful careers in the Visual Arts. Lucy Fradkin, Raheleh Filsoofi, Bovey Lee, Beth Lipman, Shervone Neckles, Carol Prusa, and Jackie Tileston will be showing an array of work in disparate mediums from paintings to large glass installations. Please join us in honoring women of the past, while celebrating these tenacious artists whose work will be on display the entire season. This exhibition has been generously sponsored by the Jerome M. Kobacker Foundation.
About Chautauqua Institution: Chautauqua Institution is a community on the shores of Chautauqua Lake in southwestern New York state that comes alive each summer with a unique mix of fine and performing arts, lectures, interfaith worship and programs, and recreational activities. As a community, we celebrate, encourage and study the arts and treat them as integral to all of learning, and we convene the critical conversations of the day to advance understanding through civil dialogue.
