July 9 Tour: Attention to Detail: Glass 2020 - JULY 08 - AUGUST 24 - Strohl Art Center | Bellowe Family Gallery
New glass works by four contemporary glass blowers and sculptors will be shown together highlighting their personal styles and techniques. Megan Biddle produces experiment- and process-driven work with an emphasis on materials and their distinct characteristics. Ryann Cooley uses photographs to engage the viewer with an image both spatially and physically. Amber Cowan’s sculptural pieces are created through a process of flameworking, blowing, and finding second-life glass in flea markets. Leo Tecosky deconstructs iconography through an impressive range of glassmaking techniques.
